About the Artist

Lynsae Harkins is an imaginative illustrator, painter, and sculptor who is driven by an incredible passion for self-expression through art. Her works are often noted for their unique style, elegance, and technique. Lynsae has developed an innovative style that blends precise realism with abstract expressionism. Her use of vibrant colors and strong lines make her work an excellent choice for a wide range of projects and purposes.

Although she loves to express her vision through art, she is also adept at creating commercial works and readily communicates the vision of her clientele.

Lynsae is well known for her use of color and imaginative book and CD covers. She is no cookie-cutter designer.  The art she creates for others must be meaningful to both her clients and to herself.

Born in 1956 in Warner Robbins, GA, Lynsae took to art as soon as she was able to hold a crayon. Throughout her childhood, she developed an appreciation for her majestic surroundings. She would often sit in trees for hours with pastels and pad, or sit in a meadow with watercolor and canvas. Years of artistic expression made it clear that Lynsae's life would be centered upon her passion for art. Lynsae attended Richland Art School in South Carolina where she graduated at the ripe old age of 14.

Her talents also extend to music and writing.

Lynsae is a professional graphic designer and artist full-time. She lives in Nashville with her dog Bishop and three cats, Belle, Biggles and Mo.
